Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Backlog Bridge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our applications ("Apps") published on the Atlassian Marketplace. Backlog Bridge is a brand operated by Anasita, MB, a company registered in Lithuania, European Union (registration address: Smalinės g. 1-19, LT-06226 Vilnius).
By installing or using our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Apps.
2. License and Scope of Use
- Grant of License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Apps within your Atlassian Jira environment.
- Platform: Our Apps are built on the Atlassian Forge platform. Your use of the Apps is also subject to the Atlassian Customer Agreement and the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use.
- Restrictions: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of our Apps, nor may you use the Apps for any illegal purposes.
3. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
- As per our architecture, all computations occur within the Atlassian Forge environment.
- Backlog Bridge does not operate external databases; your data remains within your Jira instance.
- By using the Apps, you acknowledge that we process data as described in the Privacy Policy to provide the intended functionality.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, titles, and interests in and to the Apps (including code, design, and branding) are and will remain the exclusive property of Anasita, MB. "Backlog Bridge" is a protected brand name. Your use of the Apps does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our services.
5. Payments and Billing
- Marketplace Billing: All licensing, subscriptions, and payments are handled exclusively through the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Refunds: Refund requests are subject to Atlassian's standard refund policies.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Apps are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anasita, MB disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Apps will be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Anasita, MB or Backlog Bridge be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us to use the Apps in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
- By You: You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling our Apps from your Jira instance.
- By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Apps if you violate these Terms or if required by legal obligations.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vilnius, Lithuania.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page or via the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Continued use of the Apps after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
